Corrections, questions and suggestions are all welcome. Sun Sea Skis is a small operation, so a reply usually takes a few days rather than a few minutes, but everything sent in gets read.

Email

The address is sunseaskis@gmail.com. That is the right route for anything that needs a reply.

Found a Mistake?

Please say so. Corrections are the most useful thing anyone sends, and they get priority over everything else in the inbox. It helps enormously if you include the page address and quote the sentence you think is wrong, because “the anchoring article has an error in it” takes a long time to track down.

If you can point at a source, better still. Prices, regulations and equipment specifications all drift, and a link to the current figure means the fix takes minutes instead of an afternoon.

Questions About Sailing

Ask, by all means, but two honest caveats. The first is that nobody here can tell you whether a specific boat is safe to buy or a specific passage is safe to make without seeing the boat and the forecast, and it would be irresponsible to pretend otherwise. The second is that a surveyor, an instructor or a local sailor will almost always give you a better answer about your particular situation than a website can.

General questions are different, and often turn into articles. If something you wanted to know was not covered properly, that is useful to hear.

Working Together

Sun Sea Skis does not publish sponsored posts, paid guest articles or link insertions, and that is not a negotiating position. Pitches of that kind will not get a reply, which saves both of us the time.

Gear makers and charter operators are welcome to get in touch about a product or a destination. Nothing is promised in return, loaned equipment is disclosed on the page, and a review that would have been unfavourable stays unfavourable. The affiliate disclosure sets out how the site is funded.

Privacy

What happens to anything you send, and what the site does and does not collect while you read it, is covered in the privacy policy. There is no mailing list, so getting in touch will not sign you up to anything.
